FT 56: Q1

Q

Please write the "土" kanji.

Sakurai: D
Imai: D
Hoshino: C
Higuchi: C
Yagami: C
Yokoyama: D

Analysis: please look at length of the tip of the vertical line and check whether your vertical line is straight or curved.

If the tip is short and the line is curved......you are Type A
If the tip is long and the line is curved......you are Type B
If the tip is short and the line is straight......you are Type C
If the tip is long and the line is straight......you are Type D

A

Now let's see whether you're headstrong!

Type A......You can be headstrong at times. If we were to say it nicely, we could call you a person of conviction. And if we weren't to be so nice, we could call you willful. But be that as it may, in reality you're not quite that headstrong. You do your best to keep a low profile, even when that paticular side of your character tries to rear its ugly head.

Type B......You're the strong leader type. You have your own convictions and you'openly admit to wanting to be a leader. You can be willful at times but generally speaking, you aren't headstrong.

Type C......You're the harmony sheep. You're docile, not at all headstrong. You're meek rather than willful, would rather be everyone's friend than their leader.

Hoshino: Well that more or less sums it up *smiles*.
Higuchi: Uhh, I think you're wrong. I'm a born leader *laughs*.

Type D......You're the calm firstborn son. You aren't headstrong. You're easygoing even though you have the spirit of a leader. You're like an eldest son or daughter who has never gone through rough times in their life.

Imai&Yokoyama: Fufufu.
Imai: I'm an older brother!
Yokoyama: And I'm an older brother *laughs*.
Sakurai: ...I...I'm the younger....

FT 56: Q2

Q

Please write the "田" kanji.

Sakurai: A
Imai: A
Hoshino: A
Higuchi: B
Yagami: A
Yokoyama: B

Analysis: please check whether there is a gap in the top left corner, and whether the top right corner is angular or rounded.

If there is no gap on the left, and the top right corner is angular......you are Type A
If there is a moderate gap, and the top right corner is rounded......you are Type B
If there's a large gap and the other lines are too long......you are Type C

A

Now let's see whether you're laid-back or uptight!

Type A......You're like an uptight honors student, extremely serious and methodical. Like some neat freak, you categorize all things as either black or white. You're the type to be a teacher's pet. Your lack of adaptability leaves you feeling ill at ease in some situations.

Imai: Uh, that's the first time I've ever heard that *laughs*. First time at my age. But I kinda wrote it as if I was writing "rice paddy", so...(1)
Yokoyama: I don't wanna know!
Imai&Yokoyama: Hahahahahaha!

Type B......A leader with a sense of humor is who you are. You're more or less flexible, and you accept a certain amount of mistakes from other people. You're perfectly suited for positions of leadership, like that a boss.

FT: So that's the complete opposite of the previous result.
Higuchi: Yeah, the exact opposite *laughs*. I don't get it, do you?
Yokoyama: And here Asaki-chan told me I wouldn't make a good leader.
Imai: *laughs*!

Type C......You're exponentially more flexible than Type B. You tend to be careless and take things too far. If we wanted to word it nicely, we could call you laid back. But regrettably, we can also call you unreliable.

Notes:
1. Rice paddy in Japanese is written 田圃, or 田んぼ ('tanbo'). Now, as to why Yokoyama's terrified of the explanation...you'll have to ask Imai-sensei. :p

FT 56: Q3

Q

Please write the "様" kanji.

Sakurai: D
Imai: B
Hoshino: A
Higuchi: C
Yagami: C
Yokoyama: A

Analysis: please look at length of the tip of the left vertical line. Then look at the width of the gap between the left and right parts of the character.

If the tip is long and the gap is narrow......you are Type A
If the tip is long and the gap is wide......you are Type B
If the tip is short and the gap is narrow......you are Type C
If the tip is short and the gap is wide......you are Type D

A

Now let's see whether you have what it takes to become the boss!

Type A......You're the lone wolf, you're self-reliant. You do have the temperament of a leader and a character suited to becoming boss. However, your subordinates won't follow you because you're pretty cold hearted. For you, doing things by yourself is easiest.

Hoshino: Well that isn't good *laughs*.
FT: And if we add up all the quizzes...the results contradict themselves. *laughs*
Hoshino: That they do *laughs*. You know, I wouldn't really wish to be a loner.

Type B......It's very likely you'll become the boss. You have the temperament of a leader and what's more, people will gladly follow you for your kind heart. Out of all four types, you have the best chances of becoming the boss.

Type C......You aren't suited to becoming a boss. You don't have much of a leader's temperament; you would rather work together with the people around you. Furthermore, it's somewhat difficult for this type of person to become the boss because they aren't very open-minded.

FT: And it's the complete opposite once again *laughs*.
Higuchi: So hey, which one is it then? *laughs* I had this feeling though. It's people with rounded kanji who tend to be the boss. Somehow it just doesn't work if your writing's stiff.
Yagami: Hahaha. That's right, but I am the boss! Ahhahha! Exactly!

Type D......You can be the boss if you are hired for the position. You don't really have the temperament of a leader, you prefer working together. You won't establish yourself as the boss but you might still become one upon the recommendation of the people around you.

Sakurai: Ding ding ding! Hahahaha.
